We want you to have the best possible memories and photos of your race. We'll do our best, using our experience and equipment, but you can also help us.
Here are a few tips to remember when lacing up your runners for your next race.
- enjoy the race and you'll look good without trying
- watch out for our "Photo Op/ Photographer Ahead/ Pick Up Your Sorry Ass" signs
- look up, unless our photographers are lying on the ground, in which case they need your help
- think "Be a gazelle" and you'll look as graceful as one, guaranteed.
- let the race organizers record your time, it's their job. Don't worry about stopping your watch on the finish line. Do it after the photo and subtract 2 seconds.
- show us your bib. We're photographers not psychics and if we can't see your bib, you're anonymous. Loose clothing, swinging arms and crowds often hide bibs.
- get ahead of the big guy, because we cannot see through him.
- be thoughtful. The runner behind you also wants a finish line photo. If you have to collapse or throw up, please move to the side.
- have fun. Because that is what running is all about. Enjoy your race and we'll capture a photo that shows you did.
